Core Advantages

Efficient Recycling with Less Noise and Dust

The TMD Series Low-Speed Sound-Proof Granulator is designed for beside-the-machine recycling of plastic runners, sprues, and small defective molded parts. Its low-speed, screenless cutting system operates at approximately 27–35 RPM, producing uniform regrind with reduced dust and noise compared with conventional high-speed granulators. The cutter arrangement performs coarse and fine crushing simultaneously for efficient material size reduction. The compact granulator can be positioned beside an injection molding machine for immediate recycling. Reground material can be collected and mixed with virgin resin at the required ratio before being returned to production, helping reduce material waste and improve recycling efficiency.

Low-Noise Operation

Low rotor speed significantly reduces operating noise, making the machine suitable for beside-the-machine recycling.

Reduced Dust Generation

Slow-speed screenless crushing minimizes fines and dust while maintaining consistent regrind quality.

Immediate Material Recycling

Runners and defective parts can be recycled beside the processing machine and returned to production quickly.

Reduced Material Waste

Reusing qualified regrind material helps reduce raw material consumption and production waste.

Key Features

Designed for Clean and Reliable Plastic Recycling

  • Special Cutter Design Optimized cutters are designed for crushing runners and defective parts made from rigid and brittle plastics such as PC, nylon, and ABS.
  • Screenless Crushing The screenless cutter system produces uniform regrind while reducing dust and eliminating screen blockage.
  • Direct Gear-Motor Drive The shaft-mounted gear motor provides compact, efficient drive without requiring a separate oil transmission system.
  • Motor Overload Protection Built-in overload protection helps protect the motor and crushing system during abnormal operating conditions.
  • Wear-Resistant Crushing Chamber The cast crushing chamber provides high wear resistance for long-term recycling applications.
  • Easy Cleaning Design The feeding hopper and crushing components can be disassembled for fast cleaning and material changeover.
  • Compact Mobile Design A compact footprint and integrated casters allow convenient positioning beside production machines.
  • Optional SKD-11 Cutters Optional SKD-11 cutting tools provide enhanced wear resistance for demanding recycling applications.

Operating Workflow

How It Works

1

Material Feeding

Plastic runners, sprues, or defective molded parts are fed into the crushing chamber through the hopper.

2

Low-Speed Crushing

The low-speed rotor and cutter system performs controlled coarse and fine crushing with reduced noise and dust.

3

Uniform Regrind

The screenless cutting system reduces the material into consistent regrind particles for reuse.

4

Material Collection

Reground material is discharged and collected for subsequent blending with virgin resin.

5

Return to Production

The regrind can be blended at the required ratio and automatically conveyed back to the processing machine.
