Core Advantages

Efficient Recycling with Better Regrind Quality

The TMD Series Middle Speed Granulator is designed for beside-the-machine recycling of plastic runners, sprues, and small defective molded parts from both rigid and soft plastic materials. Operating at 140 RPM, the granulator provides an effective balance between crushing efficiency, low noise, and reduced material dust. Its multi-directional cutter system and replaceable screen produce consistent regrind particle size for reliable recycling. Three models are available with processing capacities from 50 to 200 kg/h. Double-layer stainless steel hopper construction, easy-access cleaning design, safety interlocks, mobile casters, and optional recycling systems make the TMD Series suitable for continuous injection molding production.

Reduced Operating Noise

Middle-speed crushing and a double-layer hopper help reduce noise for beside-the-machine operation.

Lower Dust Generation

Controlled crushing speed reduces excessive fines and dust compared with conventional high-speed granulation.

Fast Material Recycling

Runners and defective parts can be processed beside the injection molding machine and quickly returned to production.

Consistent Regrind Size

The cutter and screen system produces controlled particle size for more reliable blending with virgin material.

Key Features

Designed for Reliable Plastic Recycling

  • Double-Layer Stainless Steel Hopper The double-layer stainless steel feeding hopper provides durable construction and improved sound insulation.
  • Multi-Directional Cutter System Optimized claw blades provide effective cutting for both rigid and soft plastic runners and defective parts.
  • Replaceable Screen The detachable screen controls regrind particle size and can be changed to meet different recycling requirements.
  • Easy Cleaning Design The hopper, cutter chamber, and screen can be quickly opened or removed for convenient cleaning and material changeover.
  • Compact Mobile Structure A compact footprint and integrated casters make the granulator easy to position beside production equipment.
  • Safety Interlock Protection Safety switches prevent machine operation when the hopper or crushing chamber is opened.
  • Optional SKD-11 Blades Optional SKD-11 cutting tools provide enhanced wear resistance for demanding recycling applications.

Operating Workflow

How It Works

1

Material Feeding

Plastic runners, sprues, or defective molded parts enter the crushing chamber through the feeding hopper.

2

Middle-Speed Cutting

The rotor drives the claw blades at 140 RPM to cut and reduce the plastic material efficiently.

3

Particle Screening

Crushed material passes through the screen to achieve the required and consistent regrind particle size.

4

Regrind Collection

Qualified regrind is discharged into a storage tank or transferred through an optional recycling system.

5

Return to Production

The recycled material can be blended with virgin resin at the required ratio and conveyed back to the processing machine.
